Based on the appearance of this item in the Amazon description, as well as the language in the description, I assumed is is made from metal as most similar products are. Nothing in the description indicates otherwise and the "list price" of 199,99 would be consistent with a metal table and chairs. However, when the product arrived, it turned out to be a plastic material similar to PVC. Even the labels on the shipping boxes failed to describe what the product is made of. If they had, I would have refused to accept it. While reasonably attractive, the table and chairs are wobbly and the instructions that came with the unit indicate a maximum load limit for the chairs of 200 pounds. In my opinion, Amazon did a very poor job of describing this product and I would not have purchased it if I had known what sort of material was used in its manufacture. Now I am faced with either going though the hassle of returning it or living with what I feel is a second rate product.
