I hooked theese up in a ford taurus they need to be hooked up to an amp the 50wx4 stereo I have makes them sound crappy.
I also hooked 2 up in my s10 I put them where the 4x6 were by cutting a bigger hole in the dash. I have an MA Audio amp rated at 100Wrms x2 pushing them they are loud but they cant handle it turned up all the way.
The gain is at half the stereo is at 80%,the hrz is at 80, and the amp isnt set on just bass.
Overall good speakers for the price.
I think they are over rated on power is all.

The product was shipped in a timely matter, it was in great condition...the speakers work great...
