 Very Happy- Daughter Loves It!Dec 30, 2009

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter at Christmas. She loves to sing and has a talent for music. She was so excited and played with this for hours each day. We have not had any trouble with the Karaoke machine and found that it was very easy to operate. It also came with 4 CD's that hold many common tunes- ("kid songs" and some "oldies" too). We bought her a High School Musical Karaoke CD (instrumental and vocal) to go with it. She absolutely loves it and we are glad that we bought an additional microphone so that her brother can also sing along too. There is also a dial that makes the kids' voice "echo". They love this feature and have lots of fun with it too. Make sure that you buy CD's that say CD+G so that the words will be provided on screen with the music. I think that it what you have to look for on the CD case. It will not provide the words on screen if you use a regular CD. We definitely recommend this product. It is just what we were looking for.

I purchased this for my daughters birthday, she was elated when she got it. That was short lived when we found out the internal screen was just flopping around inside of the case. I contacted the sellers (Price Pros) and they did exactly what I want from customer service they shipped me a new unit along with a return shipping label to send it back at no charge. Now that the unit works, my daughter likes it very much. Thank you again for the great customer service! The kind of customer service others should follow when they send out a defective item, sending a advance replacement.

I bought this for my 7 year old's birthday. He absolutely loves it and has not quit thanking me. We have all had a lot of fun with this machine. The music it comes with is just ok. I have ordered additional CD's. The machine is easy to use and the whole family like it, well except for our dogs.

I purchased this item in May so that my grandchildren who were coming in July could enjoy it. I didn't take it out of the box until a week before the kids were due to arrive. The machine would not recognize the CD. It was too late to contact Target so I contacted Emerson directly. That is what the directions in the box said to do. I talked to Kevin at the customer service at Emerson, he admitted that this was a problem that they have with this machine. When I explained what had happened, he was not at all friendly. He told me to email the request to him so he could handle it. He said just calling wasn't enough. So I did what he requested and he never replied or did anything about it. I waited and hoped that a company as large as Emerson (who knew they had a problem product) would maybe send the replacement. It never came. My grandchildren came and were unable to play with it. I do not recommend this product or any of the Emerson products to anyone.

Worst on-line purchase I ever madeAug 02, 2010

I ordered the machine as a birthday present. The looks were OK, but the product did not work as expected. No Audio from CD, No volumn control at all, No Balance control at all. Upon TRYING to get help, I finaly discovered that the "Help" telephone system was nothing more than an Answering Machine, and the Web Help was a static form that only forwarded emails.
However when returning the item through Amazon, I was very satisfied.
Needless to say, this was the worst on-line purchase I have ever made. And will NOT buy this brand again.
