Small design flaw is big problem for user.Jan 04, 2012

This toaster is nicely built, and does not take up a lot of room on the counter.
However, I did not have the opportunity to test out all its functions, as I noticed
two problems right out of the box. 1. I had called Brentwood to find out what the inside dimensions of the oven were, since they are not mentioned anywhere I could find, and was told that they were 13x9. The oven is not 13x9 on the inside, so none of my previous assortment of pans would fit. 2. The tracks the rack slides on do not go all the way through from front to back. So when you pull out the rack, at mid-way point, it tips backwards. This means anything you have on the rack to cook or toast, will be thrown to the back of the oven, if you don't hold the rack level all the way out. Not an appealing thing to have to deal with, since you always have to have one hand operating the rack.
