Horrible hose--kinks and stinksApr 30, 2009

If I could give this item zero stars, I would. At least in warm weather (high 70's), the off-gassing is so extreme that the whole front yard smelled like toxic chemicals. The water smelled equally strongly of chemicals. I got the odor on my hands and it took 24 hours to wear off even with repeated washings. I know how to coil a hose because my father taught me how to do it correctly. This hose was virtually impossible to coil. It's extremely soft and kinks instead of bending. Even laying it out in a completely straight line before coiling (the proper way to set up a hose for coiling) didn't help as the hose would kink within the coil at each bend.
Avoid this product. Goodness knows what chemicals they put into these hoses but they smell like a toxic dump *and* they don't work well.
