The cost of being a cassette warriorMay 07, 2011

In 2006 you could wander into any electronics store and
purchase an audio head cleaner for about a dollar plus tax.
Since the demise of the cassette tape, it is hard to find
a cleaner that is not "WET". [Which is using a solution to
clean the tape heads.] KMC offer this 24 pack for $29.11.
Are they crazy?? No they are not.You will pay almost $10
in shipping, which makes a happy $39.
However it may be worth the cost. It is extremely hard to
find cassette cleaners, since the demise of tape decks.I
own three decks, and the Q-Tip with rubbing alcohol is
time consuming and messy to clean tape heads.
I would recommend to anyone with a need to clean up their
decks to buy a box of these. At $1.62 each it is the best
bargain of 2011!!
