Nice for the priceAug 30, 2010
I have not been able to experience all the features of the dvd player; however, what I have experience thus far is good. The only problem I have is there is no ejection button on the remote control.

I was not sure if I could return this DVD because of the loud buzzing sound on the TV while using the DVD. A few of the DVD's the sound continues while playing the DVD as some there is little and no sound during the playing. Am I able to return for a new DVD?

Okay but not greatAug 26, 2010
I dont think this is a great product but it isnt bad so I am giving it 3 stars. I had an issue, contacted Sony support through e-mail and got a response to use the manual. I contacted online support who basically took me through the same process with no help. After a week, I'm returning it for a new brand. I've read a lot reviews that differed quite a bit but didn't have any significant problems with the player. It was kind of noisy when it loaded a disc. The main problem was that I needed this player play the same disc multiple times but could not get it to do that. I'm not sure if it was a flaw in one machine or a problem with all of this paticular version model, make.

Sony dvd player is a good choice for simple play-back of movies. Our 90-year old grandmother loves watching old movies on it.

I bought this player to get a quality DVD player. It has exceeded my expectations. I could have paid less, but I wanted something that I could depend on. I don't have an HD TV, but wanted a DVD player that I could use when I upgrade later to HD. With my regular TV set the picture is fantastic. Total setup time was about 5 minutes. Unplug the old DVD player, plug in the new. Everything worked flawlessly right out of the box. Hopefully, it will be like that for a while. It is a Sony, right??
