Only 5 Speeds - Who Needs More?Mar 06, 2009

A 5 speed blender that is so powerful I never get past #1. Its appearance really sold me: it looks like a piece of jewelry - all black and chrome and silvery (no white plastic, thank you very much). Easy to disassemble and clean. I shall buy an extra, in case down the years and it's been discontinued, I'll have a back-up.

What are main points about blenders, as I understand it:
1)Working (not braking and giving a smooth product)
2)looking not bad at least
3) Crunching ice and not dying from that
4) fast to clean up
5) easy to use (and fast)
6) low danger (no cutting hands and fingers)
7) compactness and how much it fits
(the above were my criteria, when I tried to make a right choice) Let's see how it satisfies my expectations:
1) It works, the product is smooth
(take the skin off from fruits for better smoothness is a general recommendation)
2)I like the way it looks
3)No problems with ice
4)Just rinse it with water right after using - no special hard-to-reach zones. So, cleaning is less than a minute
5) The lid is a little little tricky to push-in (was not as obvious for the first time), but then I got used to how it works. Everything else is as straight forward as it can be. No need to press and hold the button - just set the speed and walk away, if you need so, which is good.
6) It never cuts me
7) It is very compact! And in terms of amounts - it fits enough for two full cup portions
Glad to give my 5 stars away!
